Mid 20th Century Wrighton Teak & Melamine Five Drawer Dressing Table with Mirror

  
Wrighton Teak and Melamine Dressing Table with Mirror. This is a teak five drawer dressing table with a large removable mirror made in the UK by Wrighton and probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The dressing table has an inset melamine top surface in cream or off-white with a decorative floral design to the centre in green and red. The splayed legs are finished in black with a natural finish wooden horizontal support running between them. The centre drawer has a lock however the key is missing so this no longer works. The mirror appears to have had new supports fitted at some stage and may possibly be a later addition or replacement.

Approximate dimensions are 121cm (47.5") in width, 53cm (21") in depth, 73cm (28.75") in height to the main top surface and 128.5cm (50.5") in height to the top of the mirror. The dressing table is in good condition for its age with no loose joints or other structural damage and just a few minor signs of cosmetic wear.

There is some faint wear or fading to the front edge of the top surface as shown in the close up photos below and the other odd mark or scratch however nothing too obvious. Internally the drawers are in good overall condition but do have a few marks or stains from previous usage. The melamine surface also appears to be in good condition with no obvious damage or wear.
