Mid 20th Century White and Newton Teak Four Drawer Dressing Table with Mirror

  

White & Newton Teak Dressing Table with Mirror. This is a teak four drawer dressing table with a large removable mirror made in the UK by White & Newton Ltd of Portsmouth and probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s. Approximate dimensions are 167.5cm (66") in width, 42cm (16.5") in depth, 61.5cm (24.25") in height to the main top surface and 111cm (43.75") in height to the top of the mirror.

The dressing table is in good overall condition for its age with no loose joints or other structural damage but does have some signs of cosmetic wear. The top surface has some marks and stains mainly to the left-hand side along with a few other scuffs and scratches as shown in the last few photos below. The front and sides are generally in better condition with just the odd minor mark or scratch. Internally the drawers are in good clean condition and the mirror is intact with no damage to the glass.
