Mid Century G Plan Fresco Teak Five Drawer Dressing Table with Mirror and Stool

  

G Plan Fresco Dressing Table. This is a G Plan Fresco teak floating top dressing table with a large removable mirror and matching stool probably dating from the 1960s or 1970s. The dressing table has two sets of two drawers to either side of the kneehole section with a further partially concealed drawer to the centre. The central drawer has a shallow ledge to the front with a deeper section behind and is lined with purple velvet or a similar material.

The stool is upholstered in a white or slightly off-white vinyl, faux leather or leatherette material with a button to the centre. Approximate overall dimensions for the dressing table are 152.5cm (60" or 5ft) in width, 46cm (18") in depth, 69cm (27") in height to the main top surface and 118cm (46.5") in height to the top of the mirror.

The stool measures approximately 52cm (20.5")in diameter across the seat and 44.5cm (17.5") in height. The dressing table is in very good overall condition for its age and usage with no damage but does have a few signs of cosmetic wear. There are a few marks or scratches to the wood mainly to the top surface as shown in the first few photos below.

The sides of the dressing table and drawer fronts are all in good condition with no particulalry obvious signs of wear. The interiors of the drawers are also in good overall condition but do have a few marks or stains from previous usage.

The mirror is intact with no damage to the glass or frame. The stool is also in good condition with just the odd mark or scuff to the wood. The vinyl upholstery is intact with no rips or tears but does have some faint dark marks around the edge as also illustrated in the photos below. For locations further afield or where we are unable to deliver for any reason, we use a reliable third-party courier. We normally deliver to London twice a month on a Saturday or Sunday and we can give you a two-hour time slot the day before. Weekday deliveries to London are available on request however may take a little longer to arrange and be subject to an additional cost. For local deliveries, we can normally be quite flexible with regards to days and times.

Where we use a third party courier we will let you know once your item has been collected from us. All of our deliveries are a one-person service so suitable help will be needed at your end to unload heavy or bulky items.
